Manny sipped at the coffee, placed the mug onto the table, sat back.
Moved to fluff the cushion. “Course there was Nog's. Now he was one of the best.”

“Reminded me of Cat Stevens.” “Oh my god, yes. “ Patrice had walked through the door. Overhearing part of the conversation. “The one who had long hair and dragged his left foot. Never found out why that was.”

“Motorcycle accident.” “Ah, that explains it.” “He could finger those chords like a baby sucking on a tit. Free flowing and natural. Not that he ever sucked up to anyone, cept probably his mother.”

“Manny!” “Saying is all Patrice, n I doubt you, would have objected, given the gifted guy he was; having him suckling on your tit anyways.”

“Is he asking for a slap.” Frank grinned. “I’ll say one thing Moby, you’re on top form today.” Patrice poured her tea and moved to sit with them.

“Nog's, always reminded me, of Fagin, you know from Oliver Twist.
When ever I saw it on television it always had me thinking how he would have suited that role to a tee. I could just imagine him breaking into song.”

She started laughing, replacing her cup as the tea started to spill over the top.
“Gotta pick a pocket or two.” More laughter. “Ah that was the coat he wore, with the deep pockets he used to sink his hands into.

I always said he could have hidden a decent amount of stash in both of those.”
“Manny!” “So what happened to him. Last I heard he was working in Sarah’s band.”

“That was true. I think for about five or six gigs. I was amazed he lasted that long.”
“Ah yes, the alcohol. She liked her tipple.”

“Nog's was a teetotaler, not a drop of alcohol after 25 if I remember. His brother dying, age 37; turned him off alcohol. Committed suicide. He adored the guy.

Sarah swigging it back and once she had had a few shoving it under his nose almost taunting the guy? That was it. Told her was leaving.. She realized she had a gig coming up, no lead and flipped.

Called him all the names she could think of, none too pleasant.”
“No surprise re our Sarah.”

“Word was, Nog's said nothing, until the next day, when she had sobered up. He was not sparing on what he called her.

A half wit, delusional, glorified wannabe. There were a few other expletives he used that I can’t repeat in your presence Patrice.”

“See you can be nice Manny when you want to be, treating me like a lady.”
“No, that was not what I was thinking, more a case of getting a real hard slap, if I told you what he had said.”

“You Frank can wipe that smirk off your face!” “She replaced him with Dobbs or Dobbin as we used to call him. Had a laugh like a horse as well.” “Not as good as Nog's but he liked his ale so him and Sarah got on fine.

Both of them staggering home after a gig. A kebab, a good spew. Fantastic night had by all.”  “Changing the subject.” Frank picked up the piece of paper. “Note here from Torens re the charity concert. Friday evening.”

“My girl Lyn and the other girls are working with Louise on a set of dance routines and Dees is doing her Lady G. Beenie is doing his Robbie tribute. Always goes down well.

I heard Sarah is doing her Bri tribute. that is of course If she can find someone to replace Dobbs.” “Oh.” Manny looked at Patrice.

“Dobbs was so drunk, he tripped stepping up a kerb so I hear; broke his leg.
Sarah was so off her head she fell, caught by him, tumbled forward and why, if you recall, she had those red scratch marks along her nose?”

“I suspected it was from her drinking. She’s got worse Frank. Not far off how she was before you weaned her off the alcohol, well almost.”

“Why I called you here today. I’m going to have to let her go. Third complaint I’ve had from parents with their kids. Sophie’s mother, Mrs Thorpe is still livid over the language she used, after she asked her,

If Sophie could change her day from Tuesday to Thursday.” “No one, is booking with her. Cheryl can’t avoid her on reception. Sometimes she’s OK, other times downright rude.

I believe the words used by Cheryl re Sarah, were. “ ‘Pig ignorant’, arrogant and offensive.” I managed to calm her down and stop her from resigning. She wouldn’t tell me what you know who had said, but Cheryl has the hide of a Rhino. So whatever it was?”

The door to the office thrown open, in the doorway, 14 year old Cicci. Cheryl’s sister. “Think you ought to know, Mrs James is demanding to see you. Studio 3.” Frank shook his head, stood up and followed Cicci.

In Studio 3 an altercation? Mostly Sarah’s voice. “You peeps you’re all the same.
You think your little petal, your little arse wipe, is gonna be the next Rhi or Lady G.
Lucy can’t sing, bloody useless dancer and a frigging waste of my time.”

There was Frank noted, an all too familiar slur with her words. Drunk? You would not as they say, want to light a match near her. He tried to step between them for Sarah to shove at him.

“Your fault, allowing these tossers, these wankers, in here in the first place.”
Sarah stepped back slumped into a chair, much to Frank’s relief.

He was trying to console Mrs James, a spright young 29 year old fitness instructor, who was remarkably restrained. Her fingers curled and into a fist indicated that Sarah might have been the center of affection where that was concerned.

“You get rid of her, I want to see her sacked and NOW or I will have the local papers involved. You are aware, I have a witness to this outrage.” Stood behind him having entered seconds after he had, was Mrs Thorpe. All he needed. “Word for word.”

Ten minutes later Bridget arrived, to escort Sarah off the premises. Still cussing and swearing and still drunk. The parents had left. Harmony restored. Frank headed into his office.

“Well?” “She’s gone.” Frank sat down at his desk picked up the phone.
“Denise, sort out a P45 for Sarah and the last of any monies due to her.” ‘It’s bloody pointless, me wasting time on you. Ever since that stupidity over the Feeb business.

Thought you had learned your lesson but no, not our Sarah. Living with Mike and behind his back, open another Feebie account, use it to cheat on him. When he found out?
Its all down to ID theft.

Not me, someone else, honest. When he says to you, OK lets find out who set up the other account, you freak, call him a wanker and throw him out. Guilt was it Sars? Mike had been over those pages before you deleted the account, showed me. No way, was that NOT you.“

So what if I did set up another account, what the hell is it to do with him anyway!”
“You’re missing the point Sars. Its when he confronted you and you couldn’t be honest with him.

No, just have one of your usual aggressive stances and chuck the guy out. I don’t have to answer for my actions to anyone, moment.

No different with Torens. How the hell he ever stuck around as long as he did Lord knows. All those times you wouldn’t talk to him. Couldn’t tell him, what it was that you hated, wanted out of, but didn’t want to give up?!

Cos you Sars, were able to milk the moment, the place, the time, the guy. Roof over your head, food on the table, that bill paid, this holiday here, that holiday there. Studio time and can I borrow a tenner, twenty? Oh thanks. That they would rarely, see paid back; moment.

As for your place. What I want to know, is what you do with your time, when you are not working. The place is a tip. Half eaten pizzas lying around. Clothes strewn over the floor. Empty crisp packets, pot noodle containers, What the! Sars.

Oh it must that five minutes working on a new song inspired by your latest outpouring on your web that you’re working with this producer and and signed to an album here, on a four month cruise and how you are so looking forward to that.

As for the bucket list tweets? What the uck was that ever about? Spending time with my boo, the bucket list is complete. I had free drinks on that for the past two weeks. The only one  quick, were those who might die laughing at any moment.

Lydia. Back from holiday. She phones me. Like your lips Sars. Your reply? Slap em or kiss em? Absolutely ucking unreal you are. Dees griping at me. She keeps trying it on Bridge. Can you tell her I’m not interested.

A freaking embarrassment. You chuck Mike out, Torens ditches you and all of a sudden its a gay ucking bonanza. Lets link to everything and anything gay.

Off your rocking horse or what? All I heard from the girls was them going on about just that. The only ones who pay you any attention are the ones who will slap em or kiss em.

Can’t talk to Torens? The only sane one and at the same time insane one, where you are concerned is Torens. You hate that he knows you so well, has you pegged for what you are, Sarah about Sarah.”

Sarah had burst into tears. Bridget was tempted to ignore them. She gave in and sat beside her as she hugged her. Listening to her sob.

"I love Torens, miss him.” “Then why the silence Sars? He was right when he said, the only one that can end the silence is you, adding; I won’t be holding my breath for that to happen anytime soon.”

Torens had finished talking to Frank. So he had finally sacked her. At odds with everyone, blaming everyone as usual for all that had gone wrong.

‘You don’t know the pain and suffering I’ve known.” She enraged him. All the stupid inane tweets, the FB farce, the way she trashed him to her friends.

Hid behind her bi sexual preferences believing that he knew nothing. Then the bucket list tweet. Mike and how she had created that second Feebie account, told everyone it was identity theft.

What the?! Oh here comes boyfriend this and boyfriend that? OR? ”
What slap em or kiss em..” “Neither.” He missed her, insane as it was.

Would, could never stop loving her. Hated, that that, was how it was. He knew she would bask in it. Knowing how much he loved her. Laugh at the fool.

The only way he ever got payback was hurting her. She had no idea what was coming. Elaine was already heading up the charts. One of the songs from the forthcoming movie? The album? He had offered it to her on a plate. Silence. Elaine delighted by HER, silence.

“Why.” Janice had growled, did we not get parts in the movie? The one Toren’s did the soundtrack for? Could have taken us on as artistes for?” Elaine smiled.

“ After what you and Sarah said about him? You and talking to others, tribute artistes, pantomime artistes, slagging him off behind his back.

Like HER unable to say it to his face? Got to hide behind Feeb and Tweet? Those who followed the guy, singers tribute artistes, producers, media and more.

All involved one way or another eventually. You lot? Expecting them to follow you but so full of yourselves when it came to following him?" She pulled out a her phone, ran her fingers across the screen and allowed Janice to see the content now showing on it. A list.

“All of the months before the movie went to production, Torens had been putting together that list of names. Guess whose was on it? Janice?”

The female smiled as she entered the club. Moved to a cellar area. “You’re early.” Lisanne waited as the female stripped. A latex Basque and stockings, slid on her 9inch heels.

The leather cradle or sling that she now lay back into, as Lisanne fastened the straps and chains carefully to her wrists, her ankles. Spreading her legs out, into a v shape.

The specially constructed head rest into place, her head down resting on it, The band around her forehead taking her head holding it firmly in place as Lisanne slid next to her.
Dropping to her knees, her head moves to kiss her on the lips. “Blindfold? Or without?”

“Blindfold.” “We really do want the full on encounters tonight then girl. How long?” “Two hours.” She fastened it into place. “How many. Up to 8” “You greedy little madam!
Safe word.”

One hour and they will take over from you. No hangers on. Take the toys, clean em, replace em and put the box back. One other thing. Blonde in the sling is wearing latex.

No sharp nails on it! Sharp anything! Damage it and I will make you pay HER for a new outfit. You’ve been warned! You can alter the sling positions, red head will show you how.

To turn her over you will need her to turn. Red head knows how! DO NOT remove the blindfold! Enjoy! ”

“Where is Sars?” Bridget shook her head. “Said she was going for a kebab. Bringing me back one.” “Nearly two hours?” “Oh she can be gone for up to three hours, I never worry. Probably in the pub having a few drinks with Robbie and Tanya.”
